The symbols for the magazine slots and the robotics are:

grey box if the magazine slot/robotics status is unknown

filled box if a cartridge is present in the magazine slot/the robotics

a bold underline if the magazine slot/the robotics is empty

The robotics status is displayed in the Map menu as the first field after Map:.
