If you open the .csv file in a text editor (e.g. Microsoft Notepad), each item will be surrounded
by quotes. For example:

If you open the .csv file in a spreadsheet program (e.g. Microsoft Excel), the quotes will be
omitted. For example:

If the phone number has more than 15 digits and does not have any special characters (
-
,
,
,
w
,
*
or
#
), Microsoft Excel will convert it to scientific notation. Do not attempt to import a
.csv file that contains a phone number in scientific notation.
1. Click
Export
. The
Export System Speed Dial List
window appears.
2. Enter the name of the .csv file, and then click
Save
. A progress bar appears.
3. Click
Close
.
Caller ID name tagging
The
Caller ID Name Tagging
area allows you to enable the substitution of the caller ID name with
the name from the
System Speed Dials
page.
Caller ID name tagging compares the phone number from the caller ID of an incoming call with
the phone numbers from the
System Speed Dials
page. If a matching phone number is present,
the system will replace the name from the caller ID with the first name and last name from the
System Speed Dials
page. These names will appear on the extension instead of the caller
ID name.
