About your digital radio
Your digital radio may have some channels
programmed as either analog or dual mode. Dual
mode channels are able to receive both digital and
analog calls.
You may notice differences between your radio’s
analog and digital channels in terms of:

static noise in low signal areas, and
■
radio coverage in marginal reception areas.
Lack of static noise
On digital channels there is no static noise, even in
low signal areas. This lack of static is because your
digital radio removes the ‘noise’ from the call, so that
you hear only clear voice.
