available on your radio. P25 services are only
available for digital channels and some are restricted
to conventional mode, and for radios configured for
dispatcher operation.

You may be able to send short messages to another
radio user. These messages are defined at
programming time and are also known as ‘pre-
programmed messages’.

The person to whom you are sending the message
must have the same message programmed into their
radio in order to read and display your message.

You may be able to send your message to a
predetermined person or talkgroup, or to a person of
your choice.
