About the hand-held control

head

Your radio may have a hand-held control head
installed, to enable you to operate the radio at a
distance from the radio body.

The keys and controls work in the same way as those
on the standard control head, with the exception of the
PTT and volume up and down keys. The hand-held
control head also has two additional function keys.

Understanding the radio display

The messages and symbols you see on your radio
display depend on the mode in which your radio is
operating and the way it is programmed.
