Is the power connector firmly plugged into the rear
of the radio?
■
Are the in-line fuses in good condition?
■
Is the power cable securely connected to the vehi-
cle battery or power supply?
If all appears to be in order, but your radio still fails to
operate properly, contact your radio provider for
further assistance.
Checking the version of a radio
You may be asked for the hardware or firmware
version of your radio, for troubleshooting purposes.
Using the Main menu

and select

In the Version Info menu, select from the following
options:

Radio FW
: briefly displays the radio firmware
version.
■
Radio HW
: briefly displays the radio hardware
version, and also the frequency band.
Using the PTT key
■
With the radio turned off, hold down the PTT key
and turn on the radio.
