CHASSIS 5-25

• Install the oil seal stopper ring

and dust seal

DAMPER ROD

• Fit the rebound spring

to the damper rod

and install

them to the inner tube.

• Fit the gasket

, coat the damper rod bolt

with the thread

lock and tighten the bolt to the specified torque.

Damper rod bolt: 30 N·m (3.0 kgf-m)

99000-32050: THREAD LOCK “1322”

09940-34520: “T” handle
09940-34561: Attachment “D”

Make sure that the oil seal stopper ring is fitted
securely.

Use a new damper rod bolt gasket

to prevent oil

leakage.
