Transmission warning light

(if equipped)

When the ignition switch is turned “ON”,

this light comes on for several seconds so

you can check that the light is working.

If this light comes on when the engine is

running, there is a problem with the auto-

matic transmission system. Ask a SUZUKI

dealer to have the system inspected.

Immobilizer system warning light

When the ignition switch is turned “ON”,

this light comes on briefly so you can

check that the light is working. If this light

blinks or stays on, there is a problem with

the system. If this happens, turning the

steering wheel to the right or left. If this

light still blinks or stays on even if you start

the engine with normal voltage of the vehi-

cle battery, ask a SUZUKI dealer to have

the system inspected.

CAUTION

If this light blinks, stop your vehicle

immediately in a safe place to avoid

catalyst's melting problem since

there may be a misfire in the engine.

• Do not drive or stop over such as

withered grasses.

• Drive slowly if required to move the

vehicle.

NOTICE

Continuing to drive the vehicle when

the malfunction indicator light is on

or blinking can cause permanent

damage to the vehicle’s emission

control system, and can affect fuel
