Power on the rack. Once the new SC has passed its SCPOST, enter the platform shell.
Remember, you will need to get a serial connection to the new SC to set its
hostname and IP address. The rest of the settings will come from the backup.
Have the customer give you the URL for the configuration files generated by the
dumpconfig command. See page 86 for further details on dumpconfig/restoreconfig.
6800b-sc0:SC> restoreconfig -f ftp://172.24.20.2/SunFire
This will restore all the platform and domain configurations and
passwords. The system controller will be rebooted when the restore in
complete. The date will need to be set in the platform and each
domain.
