SK 2055 / 2070 / 2090
It is the responsibility of the user to determine whether the concrete floor is of
sufficient quality.
If the vehicle lift is being installed in an area at risk of frost, a frost-protection sill
plate should be fitted around the edge of the foundation.
5.1.1.1 Installing the chemical anchors
The Freedomlift must be installed on a concrete floor that:
• is not cracked (in the area where the anchor bolts are to be secured).
• has a minimum thickness (without including the coating) of SK 2055: 150 mm
- SK 2070 175 mm - SK 2090: 220 mm.
• has a minimum concrete strength of C20/25 EN206-1.
The minimum distance from the anchor to the edge of the concrete slab is 150
mm.
Placement
1. Determine the position of the chemical anchors as accurately as possible.
The positioning should allow for escape routes of at least 600 mm. Drilling
must be carried out precisely. A drilling jig can be used if necessary. It
is recommended that diamond drills are used. In cases where holes are
drilled through the layer, the anchors may not be positioned.
2. Adjust the drill so that it is not possible to drill deeper than 135 mm (for SK
2055 and SK 2070) or 170 mm (for SK 2090) and drill the holes.
3. Check that the holes have not been drilled through the floor, using a
screwdriver, for example.
4. Position the anchors in accordance with the supplier's instructions.
