Procedure
To connect the Ethernet cables to PoE device, follow the steps below:

Use the tool (item 1) to remove the cover of PoE device.

Pass the S-FTP cables through the tie-wraps.

Use the tool (item 1) to remove the clamp and then plug the SFTP cables into the
NMS IN
and
OUT
receptacles of PoE.

Use the tool (item 1) to screw the clamp for securing the cables in place, as shown
below:

cable used to interconnect PoE NMS IN receptacle with the
network equipment for passing outband management.

S-FTPcable used to interconnect PoE Gbe OUT receptacle with SM
CIRIUS AO receptacle for passing traffic, inband management &
power.

Use the tool (item 1) to reinstall the cover of PoE device.

Use the tool (item 1) to reinstall the cover of PoE device.

O NOT connect cable No.2 to any network equipment.
There is risk of switches /
routers failure due to potential power. Use the cable for connection to SM CIRIUS AO.
