S-FTP cable used to interconnect SM CIRIUS AO interface (1)
with PoE GbE OUT interface for passing traffic, inband management and power.

network equipment for passing traffic.

Power cable used to interconnect PoE power receptacle (INPUT)
with Power DC Source.

Grounding cable used to interconnect PoE grounding terminal ring
with the grounding bar.

Connection details:
Grounding cable used to interconnect SM CIRIUS AO grounding
point with the grounding bar.
NOTE:
Due to Electrical E TH limitation the S-FTP cable length between SM CIRIUS AO up t o net work
equipment should not exceed 100 m.
Due to Power limitation the S-FTP cable length bet ween SM CIRIUS AO up to PoE OUT receptacle should
not exceed the following distances:

outband

power
.
The SM CIRIUS AO
occupies only one FE interface
for passing both outband & power
SM CIRIUS AO can be powered by PoE device.
It’s mandatory to follow the instructions of this manual for the construction of S-FTP,
Power & Grounding Cables.
