3.4 Erase Cycle
When the printing operation is interrupted due to a paper jam or due to the interlock switch or the power being
turned OFF, an ERASE cycle is executed in the initial recovery (when the interlock switch or the power is turned
ON).
In the ERASE cycle, the main motor operates and outputs CR (DC) and TR(–) in the HVPS.
Caution 1:
The ERASE cycle is stopped by turning the interlock switch to OFF or by activating the exit sensor.
The ERASE cycle is resumed when the interlock switch or the power is turned ON.
Caution 2:
An ERASE cycle is not executed if the pre-regi. sensor or the exit sensor is turned ON during recovery
(when the interlock switch or the power is turned ON).
