your
source
SSL
certificate
file,
copy
the
private
key
portion
of
the
file
into
your
host’s
cache,
and
then
paste
the
contents
into
the
Private
Key
entry
box.
Note:
The
private
key
must
be
in
PEM
format.

Activation
keys
are
used
to
enable
features
on
the
Verde
master
nodes.
Activation
keys
are
tied
to
the
serial
number
of
the
master
node
for
which
they
are
issued,
and
cannot
be
used
on
another
array.
A
key
is
valid
until
its
expiration
date,
at
which
time
a
new
key
must
be
requested.
Activation
keys
are
included
in
the
shipping
box
when
you
purchase
your
array.
Renewals
of
expired
activation
keys
are
obtained
by
contacting
Spectra
Logic
Technical
Support
(see
Use
the
instructions
below
to
enter
an
activation
key.
1.
From
the
menu
bar,
select
Support > Activation Keys
to
display
the
Activation
Keys
screen.
Any
previously
entered
keys
are
listed.
2.
Select
Action > New
.
The
Enter
Activation
Key
dialog
box
displays.
Important
The activation keys must be entered in the order described in these instructions.
Failure to enter the keys in the proper order causes an error.
