You can delete tracks on a connected portable
device. You can also delete playlists on a
“WALKMAN” or an USB storage device (MTP).
When you delete a playlist on a connected device,
the playlist will be deleted, but not the tracks
within it.
Note
Make sure not to disconnect the device or turn the power
off until the deletion has completed.
1
Connect the “WALKMAN” or the
portable device with the tracks you
want to delete.
2
While the unit is in the HDD JUKEBOX
function, enter the Options menu
and select [Delete from dstn].
When devices are connected to the WM-
PORT and both USB ports (top and rear) at
the same time, the order of priority of the
various devices is WM-PORT, the top USB
port, and then the rear USB port.
If you are unable to find the desired device,
disconnect the devices one at a time, from the
highest to the lowest priority.
3
Select the item you want to delete.
4
Select [Delete].
5
Check the contents displayed, and
then press ENTER.
Note
If any of the tracks are registered in the Trash Bin of the
“WALKMAN”, a confirmation message will appear on the
unit and the “WALKMAN”.
Tip
You can initialize audio data on a connected
“WALKMAN” (ATRAC AD), ATRAC Audio Device, or
PSP. To do this, select [Format] in the deletion setting
display.
