communication wire must click into place.
If you must unplug a BMS communication cable:

Press the nose on the plug.
▶
Remove the BMS communication cable.
15. Check wiring
▶
Check DC connections.
▶
Make sure the battery modules are connected
in parallel.
▶
Ensure all battery connections have been
torqued correctly and are completely flat.
16. Test for neutral loops
Damages caused by improper
wiring are not covered by your
warranty.
The AC wiring inside the unit must be complete
to test for neutral loops.
▶
Turn off the breaker or disconnect supplying
grid power to the storage unit.
▶
Ensure storage unit main DC breaker is in the
off position and that ALL battery module green
POWER lights are off. To turn off a module,
press the POWER button for 3 seconds.
▶
Ensure the neutral wire from the Micro grid
terminal block inside the unit is in free air.
▶
Using a multimeter, test for continuity between
the stripped Micro-grid neutral wire and the
Grid neutral terminal inside the unit.
▶
If there is no tone or continuity between these
two test points, then the unit is safe to energize
and you can proceed.
▶
If tone is present (indicating continuity)
then STOP the installation and DO NOT
ENERGIZE the storage unit.
▶
Locate the origin of the shared neutral/
ground and correct the wiring deficiency.
Return to step 1 when complete.
▶
Reinstall the Micro grid neutral wire into the
terminal block.
▶
Proceed with the Commissioning Checklist.
Commissioning checklist
The following items should be checked before
starting the system.

The mounting location fulfills the
requirements.

All DC bus bars and wires are
connected properly.
☐
All Modbus cables are connected
properly.
☐
The over-current protection of the
storage system is sized properly.
☐
The electrical connections fulfill all
requirements of local, regional, and
national regulations.
☐
The main distribution panel
and protected loads panel are
electrically isolated
☐
The electrical connections of
the storage system have been
performed correctly.
☐
The storage system has been
connected to the Internet.
