Installing battery modules
WARNING
Risk of burns!
Very high short circuit currents are
possible!

Ensure that all modules are OFF
by checking the POWER and
STATUS LEDs are both off until
told to power on.
▶
Take off metallic jewelry.
▶
Turn off the storage system.
▶
Turn off main disconnect switch.
Trained electrically qualified person only!
ATTENTION
Damage of the battery cells by
short circuit!
If the battery cells short-circuit:

Do not connect the affected
modules to the storage system!

1. Unpack battery modules

The terminal covers must be kept
after installation is complete.
If the batteries are returned to the
manufacturer for any reason, they
must be shipped with the terminal
covers reinstalled into the battery
terminals. It is advisable to leave
the terminal covers in the storage
unit cabinet.
2. Label the battery modules

Place the supplied stickers.
Start the numbering with zero and continue
consecutively, beginning with the battery module
on the bottom and closest to the cabinet door.
Each battery module should have a unique sticker
number.
3. Battery module installation
The bottom mounting bracket is factory installed
but the topside mounting bracket must be installed
after the batteries have been placed in the cabinet(s).
The batteries will be placed so that the battery
support brackets are in front of the bottom mounting
bracket.
