SR15 Hydrophone Setup dialog box
The
SR15 Hydrophone Setup
dialog box allows you to open the
Spectrum
dialog box.
How to open
This dialog box is only available if you have set up an Ethernet connection with an SR15
Receiver. This dialog box, is opened from the
I/O Setup
page on the
Installation
dialog box.
To open, select the hydrophone icon on the corresponding “block diagram”.
The
Installation
dialog box is located on the
Setup
menu.
Description
The SR15 Receiver has a single
hydrophone built-in.
You can select the
Spectrum
icon, under the
Hydrophone
icon to access the
Spectrum
dialog box. The quality of the
acoustic communication link
between the sensors and the
receiver can be challenged by
noise. When noise appears in
the same frequency range as
the sensors are using for their
communication, the resulting
information may be unstable
or unreadable. The graph in the
Spectrum
dialog box provides you with information about the background noise and the
signal strength in the selected frequency band.
