The TV80only allows you to configure PX sensors. If you wish to use older sensors (not PX
family), these must be configured using their dedicated applications before you add them.
If your new sensor has already been configured, you do not need to repeat the configuration
process to use it.
By default, a PX MultiSensor mk2 can always send 2 measurements. Additional
measurements (up to 3) can be added.
When interfacing a SR type receiver unit, each sensor channel can contain 5 measurements.
• Door spread
• Height (altimeter)
• Depth (pressure)
• Temperature
• Roll
• Pitch
• Battery status
• Geometry
• Geometry remote
• Spread remote

Read Sensor
You may prefer to check first the existing configuration of the selected sensor. Select
Read Sensor
so that the sensor can “send” its information to the computer. Prior to
read the sensor’s data, the communication between the computer and the sensor must
have been established.
Select Receiver
Select the receiver to be used to receive the specific sensor data.
Select Position
The gear illustration corresponds to the one you chose in
Select Gear
in the
Installation
dialog box. It shows the possible locations of the selected sensor. The capital letter
indicates where you can place the selected sensor. The selection you make here
decides which functions are offered to the current sensor. It also means that you must
place the sensor on the physical location it is configured for.
