Measurements
Select the measurements you want to receive from
your PX TrawlEye. The number of measurements
available will be limited by the SW version of your
sensor and/or on your selection of the
Learn Mode
parameters.
Priority
Selecting
Priority
will allow the selected
measurement to be transmitted after every other
measurement.
Battery status
The PX TrawlEye sends up its battery status. This allows you to plan when to charge
the sensor. The operational duration of the battery depends on the output power and the
update rate values. When enabled, the sensor will send the requested measurements.
Geometry
The purpose of the geometry measurement is to monitor the geometry of your trawl or
danish seine, that is, the relative position between the trawl doors. The measurement is
made by checking the distances between the centre of the headrope above the trawl
opening (or the footrope at the bottom) and each of the trawl doors or wing ends.
If these distances are not identical the trawl (or danish seine) will be skewed and
unbalanced, and this reduces the catch efficiency.
Roll
The standard version of the sensor is provided with built-in roll and pitch sensors so
that you can verify that the sensor is aligned correctly. When enabled, the sensor
will send the requested measurements.
Pitch
The standard version of the sensor is provided with built-in roll and pitch sensors so
that you can verify that the sensor is aligned correctly. When enabled, the sensor
will send the requested measurements.
Depth
When enabled, the sensor will send the requested measurements.
