11. Attach the rear brake rod guide (C, Figure 11) to the
carrier brake lever (E). Secure with a locknut.
12. Engage the parking brake to slacken the drive belt.
13. Route the drive belt around the transmission drive
pulley.
14. Secure the left end of the transmission belt guide (A,
Figure 12) to the carrier assembly using a capscrew
and washer (B). tighten all hardware securing the
transmission belt guide (A).
15. Route the drive belt through the idler pulleys and belt
guide (B, Figure 11).
16. Release the parking brake and adjust the belt guide
(B, Figure 11) so that it is positioned 1/4-1/8” away
from the belt.
17. Connect the transmission control rod (D, Figure 12)
to the transmission control lever and shock absorber
stud (E) using the original spacer (G) and locknut (F).
18. Lower the tractor and perform the GROUND SPEED
CONTROL FOOT PEDAL ADJUSTMENT and
BRAKE & BRAKE SPRING ADJUSTMENT in
Section 4.
