1.3. Quick Response— Trouble
A TROUBLE condition is indicated when there is a problem with the fire detection system. It is important to respond
immediately, because the system may be unable to detect a fire.
What You do

Look at the AUTOCALL TFX-500M/800M
control panels to see TROUBLE lights and
messages. Listen for TROUBLE signals.

Yellow TROUBLE LED light.

Yellow ZONE TROUBLE LED(s) light.

Buzzer sounds a pulsing tone.

Display gives TROUBLE message.
Read the display to determine where the
trouble condition originated.
Display shows zone and point identification messages. See Figure
above.
Find the location and cause of the Trouble
condition. Follow your building and company
procedures.

Respond according to your facility’s Trouble
response procedure.
