4. If you make an error, press QUIT to end and restart the option. Take care not to rest your fingers

3.6. Test System Menu
Functions on this menu allow devices to be tested without raising a full alarm. Select the “Test System”option from the main
menu. The sequence of options shown in Figure 3--6 will be displayed.

the zone(s) being tested are lighted continuously.
Solo Test Zone ------ This option allows the detectors and manual pullstations in a zone to be checked for correct operation
WITHOUT raising an alarm.
Warning: THIS FUNCTION WILL DISABLE THE ZONE(S) UNDER TEST.
1. Select the “Solo Test Zone”option from the menu. The display will respond with the following mes-
sage:
Zone no.:
(Quit to Exit)
A blinking cursor indicates that an operator entry is required.
2. Enter the number of the required zone. The display will respond with the following message:
Solo test active
000 pnts tested
exit with quit
3. Walk around the zone and activate detectors, manual pullstations, etc., placing them into an alarm
condition.
