If an attempt is made to de-isolate a zone which is already de-isolated, the display will respond with the following
message:
Point(s) already de-isolated
If a printer is connected and on-line, each zone enabled will be logged in the following format:

In this example, Zone 1 [all points] has been enabled.
De-Isolate Point (Communication Circuits Only)
------ Previously isolated individual devices specified by their
addresses may be de-isolated. Proceed as follows:
1. Select the “De-Isolate Point”option from the menu. The display will respond with the following mes-
sage:
Loop: A
(Y/N)?
2. If the device to be de-isolated is on Loop A, press
YES/ENTER
. Go to Step 8 and proceed.
3. If the required device is NOT on Loop A, press
NO/DELETE
The display will respond with the fol-
lowing message:
Loop: B
(Y/N)?
4. If the device to be de-isolated is on Loop B, press
NO/DELETE
. Go to Step 8 and proceed.
5. If the required device is NOT on Loop B, press
NO/DELETE
. Continue until the correct loop is cho-
sen.The display will respond with the following message:
Loop: A 1
(Y/N)?
6. If it is required to de-isolate the SAME numbered point on ALL loops, press
YES/ENTER
. Go to
Step 8 and proceed.
7. If a mistake is made, press
NO/DELETE
. The display will return to that shown in Step 1 above.
8. Once the correct loop has been chosen, the display will respond with the following message:
Point no.:
(0=none,Yes=all)
9. Enter the address of the required device and press
YES/ENTER
. The AUTOCALL
TFX-500M/800M panel will pause briefly and then display:
de-isolate successful
The ZONE TROUBLE yellow LED will go out, and the internal buzzer will stop sounding, if no further
points are isolated. The LCD will return to the “De-Isolate Point (addr. loop only)”display, allowing a
further point to be de-isolated.
If a non-existent address is entered, the display will respond with the following message:
Point(s) not
found

3.9. Open VFP (Open Virtual Front Panel)
The “Open VFP,”open virtual front panel, menu option is available only to TFXnet network systems. This option allows any
network panel to act as the front panel for any other network front panel. For example, if you are operating network panel
number 4, you may open a virtual front panel to network panel number 6 as follows:
