Siemens Sinamics S120M Equipment Manual Download Page 155

Press the latch at one side using a slotted screw‐

driver or similar tool – and push out the plug insert 

by approx. 2 mm.

Repeat this operation for the second latch.

Remove the plug insert. 

Rotate the plug insert through 180°.
 

Push the plug insert into the housing until it audibly 

snaps into place.

Several Control Units and DRIVE-CLiQ Extension

It is possible to use several Control Units and DRIVE-CLiQ Extensions. This should be 

configured if more than the maximum permissible number of S120Ms are operated on the same 

line.
In this case, the shortest possible Hybrid Cable downstream of the DQE (< 10 m) should be 

used for the first axis.
