Restoring the configuration for SIPLUS CMS1200 SM1281
1. Open the sensor box at the motor. For the UL version of the connectivity module, follow the
instructions provided in ChapterOnly UL version: Opening and closing the sensor box door
(Page 25).
2. Withdraw the LAN cable from the LAN connection

3. Connect the LAN cable to the LAN connection

and to the PG/PC to establish a direct
physical connection with the PG/PC.
4. Open or dearchive the TIA project "SC600_release_v.x.x.x.zap15" (Project > Dearchive).
5. Under "CPU > Program blocks > CMS1200 Total", open the "Configuration [DB2]" data block.
6. Under "Static > SM1281 Config", set the start value of parameter "S7lead?" to FALSE.
7. Load the software to the device.
When requested to do so, enter the password specified under step 8 of the previous handling
instructions (restoring the configuration for CPU SIMATIC S7-1212C DC/DC/DC).
8. Open a web browser and open the following IP address via the address bar.
http://192.168.0.30
The web interface of the SIPLUS CMS1200 SM1281 opens.
Note
In the case of service, only use the web interface via a direct physical network connection.
9. Login with the following login data:
– Replacement with new part:
Username: admin
Password: 0000
– Restoration/replacing the configuration:
Username: admin
Password: You obtain the password from SIEMENS customer service.
10.Load the following files to the device "Administration > Save and restore > Download settings
> Restore":
– Monitoring parameters > Parameters.cmsdb
– Device parameters > Device.cmsdb
– Bearing types > BearingTypes.cmsdb
11.In "Administration > General > Password", click "Change Password".
The "Change password" dialog opens.
12.Enter the password that you obtained from SIEMENS customer service. Confirm with "OK".
13.In the TIA Portal under "CPU > Program blocks > CMS1200 Total", open the "Configuration
[DB2]" data block.
