4.1 Transport and storage
Only ship the connectivity module firmly fastened to a pallet through a transport company.
NOTICE
Damage to the sensor box as a result of external effects
The sensor box is mounted onto the motor in the factory. When transporting, storing and
operating the motor, the sensor box can be damaged as a result of external effects.
Take special care not to damage the sensor box when transporting, storing and operating the
motor. It is not permissible that the sensor box is subject to mechanical stress or loads.
CAUTION
Transport of hazardous goods
The IPC contains a lithium battery (type CR2032). Additional information is provided in
the operating instructions of the IPC (Page 16).
Carefully comply with the regulations laid down in UN regulation UN 3091.
Maintain the following climatic conditions when transporting and storing the sensor box:

Maximum air pressure 1080 hPa

EN 6006822, test Bb, dry heat and EN
6006821 test Ab, cold -40 °C to +70 °C
EN 60068230, test Db, damp heat 25 °C to 55 °C, 95 % humidity
EN 60068-2-14, test Na, temperature shock -40 °C to +70 °C, dwell time 3 hours, 2 cycles
4.2 Prerequisites
Protective system of the overall system
The protection measures for the connectivity module and the SIDRIVE IQ applications do not
replace the protection system of the overall system itself (standstill alarms, protection against
overheating etc.).
