Transmission mode 

You determine whether ST7 values are sent immediately or following a delay with the 

transmission mode of a data point: 

●

 

Spontaneous (unsolicited - direct transfer) 
The value is transferred immediately. 

●

 

Conditional spontaneous (buffered transfer) 
The value is transferred only when one of the following conditions is fulfilled: 
–

 

The communications partner queries the station. 

–

 

The value of another event with the transmission mode "Spontaneous" is transferred. 

–

 

The fill level of the send buffer has reached 80 % (TeleControl Basic) or 90 % (ST7) of 

its maximum capacity.
