Introduction
The ET 200SP HA distributed I/O system meets the requirements and protective objectives of
the following EC directives, and satisfies the Harmonized European Standards (EN) for
Programmable Logic Controllers which were published in the official pamphlets of the
European Community:
● Low voltage directive
● EMC directive
● Explosion protection directive

Low voltage directive
2014/35/EU "Electrical equipment designed for use within certain voltage limits" (Low Voltage
Directive)
According to the requirements of EN 61010-2-201, the components of the distributed I/O
system ET 200SP HA have been tested in compliance with the low voltage directive.
