Current transformers come with input range recognition which 

SICAM Q80 7KG8080

 reads automatically.

There are two connection terminals:

Terminal 5 A is for input ranges2,5 A, 5 A and 10 A. Use this terminal if you expect high current surges.

Terminal 1 A is for input range 0,5 A and 1 A.

Selection of current terminal and input range

Use this dialog to switch the current

direction.

Thus, faulty wring can easily be corrected.

Similarly to the case of the voltage terminals, there are various ways to define an external transformer. When you click
on
