8.4.3.2 Calibration/AUTOCAL
AUTOCAL (automatic calibration)
The cyclic AUTOCAL can be parameterized in this menu. An AUTOCAL is initiated daily
for the ULTRAMAT 23.
The AUTOCAL is initiated weekly for all other devices. The times associated with each of
these must also be configured. The view of the menu varies depending on the chosen
analyzer.
It is only possible to start a manual calibration on Series 6 and SIPROCESS GA700
devices. For all other devices, the manual calibration must be performed directly on the
device (see corresponding manuals for this).
For the laser analyzer LDS6, this menu is not available.
As soon as an AUTOCAL has been started, some other displays and buttons are
displayed. While an AUTOCAL is running, starting of the manual calibration is
deactivated without being displayed.
For Series 6 devices and the ULTRAMAT 23, it is possible to cancel a running AUTOCAL.
For all other device types, this is not possible.
When an AUTOCAL is started (manually or cyclically) while the function check is set (e.g.
cabinet maintenance active) or one of the devices is signaling a function check, the
AUTOCAL is not started immediately. In this case, the "AUTOCAL/FC" symbol appears in
the display area and a notice about the current status is shown in this menu. The
AUTOCAL waits to start until the "Function check" status has been revoked for the
cabinet.
