The keys or display elements have the following meaning:
Operator control Key Meaning
Touch-
sensitive Input of the new date and time of day.
Touch-
sensitive Use for changeover from Daylight Saving Time to Standard Time.
The time is evaluated only during the "duplicate hour" at the changeover to
standard time.
For this reason, you must specify for all time data for the period between
2:00:00 AM and 2:59:59 AM whether it refers to the point in time
before or after
the time change.
This is done with the Daylight Saving Time parameter:
• When Daylight Saving Time = On, the time data falls in the first of the two
hours, thus in Daylight Saving Time.
• When Daylight Saving Time = Off, the time data falls in the second of the
two hours, thus in Standard Time.
The Daylight Saving Time parameter is irrelevant for all time data outside the
duplicate hour.
The parameter is irrelevant for the changeover from Standard Time to Daylight
Saving Time.
Touch-
sensitive Selection of the time zone
Touch-
sensitive After this button is selected, the chosen time is written to the system
(controller, HMI, Series 6 devices and SIPROCESS GA700 devices).
Touch-
sensitive Selection of this parameter changes the operating language.
The following can be selected:
• German
• English
• French
