8.1 HMI structure
The HMI menus are structured uniformly and divided into three areas:
• Top: Display area
• Center: Information area
• Bottom: Operating area
The following figure provides an overview of the different areas.
The display area ⑥ consists of the status symbol ① , the error indicator ② , the
information symbol or information text ③ , the name and number of the current menu ④
and the current date and time.
The information area ⑦ contains information based on the current measuring task of the
system.
The operating area ⑧ is used for navigating in the menu system and consists of the
Start (Home) button ⑫ of the current menu (here: 0 - Measured value overview), the
control keys ⑪ , whose assignment depends on the menu, the Logbook key ⑩ and the
Back key ⑨ for returning to the last opened menu.
