Write access to the device settings can be prevented by means of a password.
After the password has been entered once for the device, it is not requested again while the
device is still at the "Settings" level.
Password protection prevents the following actions:
•
Changing of device settings, including password
• Changing and deletion of values
• Deletion of data and memory content
• Resetting to factory settings
Reading out of measured values and memory content is possible without restriction when
password protection is active.

FACTORY SETTINGS All the device settings, with the exception of the com-
munication parameters, are reset to the as-delivered
condition. No data relevant to statutory calibration
regulations (e.g. register values for active energy, load
profile values and logbook entries) is deleted.
