Troubleshooting
"Wrong number of slaves"
During the master timeout, the
master receives more or fewer
reading results from the slaves
than expected from the num-
ber of slaves that the master
has entered.
•
The parameterized number of
slaves does not match the actu-
al number of slaves connected.
•
Timeout for the master is too
short.
•
The data connection between
the slaves has been interrupted.
•
Check the entered number of
slaves.
To do so, upload from the CLX
using the "CLV-Setup" pro-
gram, choose the D

section.
Download any changes to the
CLX!
•
As above, but check the time-
out defined for the master.
•
Check the cables between the
slaves.

master/slave"
After selection of the master/
slave function, individual param-
eter values, which are not com-
patible with the automatic
settings defined for this function
by the CLX, were changed sub-
sequently
Deviations from the following set-
tings:
•
Test string: no (slaves).
•
Aux. input: no (slaves).
•
Trigger mode: serial interface or
switching input.
•
RK 512: without reaction tele-
gram.
