3. Ending the Test
Specimen fragment can have very sharp edges. Be careful not to cut your hands or fingers.
Wearing gloves is recommended.
The crosshead moves quickly when returning. Therefore, do NOT look away from the
testing machine until the crosshead finishes returning.
(1) Open the fragment
containment cover.
(2) Remove the lower
portion of the
specimen.
(3) Remove the upper
portion of the specimen.
(4) Hold down the [RETURN] button
to return the crosshead to its
origin position.
