Disabling of Colour Mode
(When color-related problems occur)
When a color-related problem has occurred and printing is not possible, the use of color mode can be temporarily
prohibited. Black & white printing will still be allowed.
Disabling of Master Machine Mode
Disables the Master Machine mode for tandem printing.
(Normally this setting is not necessary.)
Disabling of Slave Machine Mode
Disables the Slave Machine mode for tandem printing.
(Normally this setting is not necessary.)
Security Settings
This setting is used to set the security enhancement functions.
Hidden Pattern Print Setting
Disables the direct entry of background pattern and others.
Machine Identification Settings
Enter a name or code to identify the machine.
Clock Adjust
This is the first and basic setting for operating the machine.
Use this to set the date and time in the machine's built-in clock.
Daylight Saving Time Setting
This is the first and basic setting for operating the machine.
Enable daylight saving time.
This function is only for use as an emergency measure. Once this setting is enabled, only a service technician can cancel the
setting. Promptly contact your dealer or nearest SHARP Service Department listed in the Start Guide to have a service
technician cancel the settings and resolve the problem.
If [System Settings] in "Setting mode (administrator)" → [Common Settings] → [Enable/Disable Settings] → [ Disabling of
Clock Adjustment ] is enabled, the date and time cannot be set.
Item Description
Specify Time Zone
If your region is ahead of GMT (Greenwich Mean Time), select [+]. If your region is behind
GMT, select [-]. Next, specify the time difference between your region and GMT in hours
and minutes. (Example: If your region is Japan, + 9 hours 00 minutes.)
Date&Time Settings Select and set the year, month, day, hour, and minute.
Synchronize with the Internet
Time Server. This can be used when the machine is connected to the Internet. The machine's time is
automatically adjusted to the time of an Internet time server.
