Configuring the fax address format
About configuring the fax address format
For all fax connectors, you must define the fax address format required by your fax server
application or Internet fax service.
Configuring the fax address format
To configure the format:

In the console tree, click the name of the fax connector.

On the
Fax Format
tab, click the
Format
button.

Refer to the documentation for your fax application to obtain the correct format for fax
addresses. A sample format is shown below:

Start building the address by adding components. For example, to include a prefix, select
Prefix
from the list on the left and then click
Add
.
Important!
Since fax application vendors change these formatting schemes frequently, make sure
you obtain the current format.
