The reactor
11.3.5.1
Replacing the UV lamp
Switch the analyser OFF before performing the maintenance operations.
Disconnect the 2 connectors of the UV lamp - above and below the reactor.
Unscrew the 3 screws securing the UV lamp below the reactor by holding the lamp base - remove
the detached part. Remove the seal.
Unscrew the 3 screws securing the UV lamp above the reactor by holding the lamp so it does not
fall. Remove the seals.
Carefully remove the lamp from its compartment.
To reassemble, proceed by going back through the steps. The seals will be changed systematically and
provided with the new lamp.
WARNING: Use anti-UV protective glasses if an operation must be carried out on the entire
system, which is protected by the protective cover on which are stuck the safety labels (UV and
Temperature).
11.3.6
The NDIR
11.3.6.1
Replacing the NDIR
Switch the analyser OFF before performing the maintenance operations.
Unscrew the two screws on each side of the cover and slightly remove the cover.
Disconnect the inlet and outlet Teflon pipes (4x6mm) of the tank - the grommets are not stuck
onto the cover so they can move and thus release the cover completely.
Disconnect the capillary columns (zero inerting) of the NDIR.
On the Measuring Board, disconnect the connectors of cells X10 (IR), X6 (measuring board), X11
(heating) and J6 (temperature sensor).
Make the wires of the lower grommet come out (under the cover).
Remove the NDIR measuring vessel from the rings.
