11 Maintenance manual
11.1 Preventive maintenance
The analyser
only requires light preventive maintenance as long as it is
maintained in a perfectly clean
condition
.
This maintenance only concerns:
The
calibration
of the analyser.
Changing
the reagents, operation also involving a calibration (see "Reagents" chapter to know
the reagents change frequency). On this occasion, we will check the cleanliness of the reactor.
Replacing the pipes
of the peristaltic pumps
every 3 months
.
Complete disassembly
of all sub-assemblies
on a yearly basis
in order to clean and inspect
them.
11.2 Regular maintenance
Multi-channel configuration: with regard to the cycles present in "maintenance", they are carried out only by the
standard inlet of the TOC and on channel 1 only.
11.2.1
TOC calibration
It is recommended to carry out at least 2 to 3 calibration cycles to ensure correct setting of the analyzer.
From the main screen:
Stop the cycle in progress (From the main screen, press
).
Enter the authorised user code.
Access the Tools tab.
Press Maintenance
.
Start the “TOC Calibration” programme.
