10.1 Preliminary start-up
Before switching the analyser ON, check all the electrical and hydraulic connections. Possibly
refer to the "Technical Specifications

chapters.
Adjust the sample flowrate.
If the fast sampling loop is present, check that the sample overflows through the overflow system
of the pan after opening the valve.
If the sample collection/treatment system is present, check that the sample exits through the
evacuation system.
10.2 Setting up the reagents
The reagents shall be stored outside the analyser, on a shelf positioned nearby and at the height of the
device, at room temperature. A tray can be provided (optional) for setting them down.
To implement the reagent containers, wear appropriate protection (gloves, goggles and protective
clothing).
Refer to the hydraulic drawing of the device in order to know the reagent/pump correspondences
(see paragraph 6.9 Hydraulic diagrams).
Insert the reagent pipes down to the bottom of each reagent container. Ensure that the reagent
container has an air intake (a small opening on the cap is sufficient).
10.3 Launching of the analyser
The device is launched automatically when it is energised:
Switch the device ON.
The screen appears.
An "Initial Tests" screen appears. As long as all conditions are not met, this screen remains present
