Section 3 Menu Operations (SCSI controller)
At powering the printer off sequence, the printer is turned OFF
after the edge of the paper roll is automatically fed to the front of
the rear cover. (When using the winder, the printer turns off with
no action.)
The paper fed to the front of the rear cover is automatically cut at
the first print of the next powering the printer on.
(When using the winder, the edge of paper is not cut.)
A cut sheet is ejected after the setting time.
<Parameter (Enter a choice.)>
- NONE
: Do not cut.
Select it when using continuos printing.
However, when leaving the printer in long waiting condi-
tion, The printer may cause dot off printing due to wrinkle
of paper.
- AUTO
: Cut automatically after a time according to the paper se-
lected.
We recommend to select this setting.
- 30min
: Cut after 30 minutes.
Before 30 minutes, paper feed for making paper smooth-
ness is performed before printing every time.
Select this setting when paper wrinkle is severe at high mois-
ture environment.
This setting is effective for all papers.
(Do not set "30min"for a cut sheet.)
- 1hour
: Cut after 1hour.
Select this setting when paper wrinkle is severe at 1-hour
print interval. This setting is effective for all papers.
- 2hours
: Cut after 2hours.
Select this setting when paper wrinkle is severe at 2-hour
print interval. This setting is effective for all papers.
- 4hours
: Cut after 4hours.
Select this setting when paper wrinkle is severe at 4hour
print interval. This setting is effective for all papers.
Menu Operations
NOTE
-
Paper wrickle may occur even if executing ”EDGE CUT
TIMER” accoding condition of use.
In such case, lift the lever and release the paper holder.
