SETUP Menu
This menu is used to set up parameters for drawings.
When the
key is pressed, parameters can be set.
Any changed parameters are saved automatically after the setup
operation.
(1) Paper dry mode setting (DRY MODE) [Initial value: AUTO]
Set dry time.
<Parameter (Enter a choice.)>
- NONE
: Ignore media dry time.
- AUTO
: Use the default paper dry time.
- MANUAL : Use the time set on the media dry time menu as
media dry time.
(2) Paper dry time setting (DRY TIME)
This item is displayed when the dry mode is MANUAL. Set dry
time.
<Parameter (Enter a value.)>
Enter a three-digit decimal value in seconds.
(3) Edge cut timer (EDGE CUT TIMER) [Initial value: AUTO]
A long wait state causes print faintness and dot-off due to wrinkles
and stains of the paper roll edge by moisture and dust.
Use this function to avoid these troubles.
The edge of the paper roll is automatically fed to the front of the
rear cover when received no data after the setting time.
(The feed of the paper roll is omitted when the edge of the paper
already exists on the front of the rear cover.)
After that, the edge of the paper is automatically cut after paper
feeding for making paper smothness (paper feeding and winding)
when received date and started printing.
(When using the winder, paper edge is not cut. The printer feeds
edge of paper roll and prints after performing paper feed for mak-
ing paper smothness.
