1 Signal lamp DP JOYSTICK IN
SERVICE (green)
Signal lamp shines with the system controlled by the DP or joystick sy-
stem.
2 Dimmer The dimmer is used for adjusting the brightness of the illuminated
push--buttons and signal lamps.
3 Push--button TEST (white) Pressing the push--button will start a lamp test in the signal lamps and
illuminated push--buttons.
All signal lamps and illuminated push--buttons must shine (except
TEST).
4 Illuminated push--button ON (yel-
low) with protective cap
Pressing the illuminated push--button will connect the time--depen-
dent controls.
5 Signal lamp ”Presetting thrust di-
rection” (green)
Signal lamp shines with the path--dependent control of thrust direction
is active via the Co--pilot.
6 Illuminated push--button ”Turning
system”

(yellow)
Pressing the illuminated push--button turns the system counter--clock-
wise as long as the contact is pressed.
Shines with the board of chair control stand and the time--dependent
control active.
7 Illuminated push--button ”Turning
system”

Pressing the illuminated push--button turns the system clockwise as
long as the contact is pressed.
Shines with the board of chair control stand and the time--dependent
control active.
8 Illuminated push--button PILOT
ON (green)
Pressing the illuminated push--button activates the auto--pilot.
Shines with the auto--pilot active.
9 Horn Sends an audible signal for backing visual signals and signals deve-
lopments in the control process.
10 Signal lamp POWER LIMIT (red) Signal lamp shines when reaching the speed limit of the system.
11 Signal lamp ARM CHAIR PS IN
SERVICE (yellow)
Signal lamp shines with the chair control stand PS in operation. *
12 Illuminated push--button DESK
ON (green)
Pressing the illuminated push--button activates the according chair
control stand.
Flashes if take--over is possible.
Shines with the according chair control stand active.
13 Signal lamp ECR DESK IN SER-
VICE (yellow)
Signal lamp shines with the engine room board having taken over con-
trol.
14 Illuminated push--button SEND
TO ECR (yellow)
Pressing the illuminated push--button activates the change--over to
the engine room board.
Shines after pressing.
15 Signal lamp LOCAL CONTROL
(yellow)
The signal lamp shines with the local control stand active.
* On the chair control stand PS, the signal lamp
”ARM CHAIR STBD IN SERVICE” shines with the
chair control stand STB in service.
