1 Thrust direction indicator The red tip in pointer of the thrust direction indicator shows the active
thrust direction of the system.

2 Signal lamp DP JOYSTICK IN
SERVICE (green)
Signal lamp shines with the system controlled by the DP or joystick sy-
stem.
3 Dimmer The dimmer is used for adjusting the brightness of the illuminated
push--buttons and signal lamps.
4 Push--button TEST (white) Pressing this button will start a lamp test in the signal lamps and illumi-
nated push--buttons.
All signal lamps and illuminated push--buttons must shine (except
TEST).
5 Speed indicator The speed indicator shows the actual propeller speed of the system
in revolutions per minute (rpm).
6 Illuminated push--button RPM
(yellow)
Pressing the illuminated push--button reduces the operating speed of
the system as long as it button is pressed.
Shines with the engine room board active.
7 Illuminated push--button RPM
(yellow)
Pressing the illuminated push--button increases the operating speed
of the system as long as it is pressed.
Shines with the engine room board active.
8 Signal lamp FU ALARM (red) Signal lamp shines with alarm from the frequency converter.
9 Illuminated push--button POWER
MODE (green)
Pressing the illuminated push--button changes the frequency conver-
ter from SPEED CONTROL to POWER CONTROL.
10 Illuminated push--button EMERG
STOP (red) with protective cap
Pressing the illuminated push--button sends an emergency stop com-
mand to the controls of the driving motor. Shines after pressing.
(The illuminated push--button is always active, independent from the
active control stand)
11 Horn Sends an audible signal for backing visual signals and signals deve-
lopments in the control process.
12 Illuminated push--button START
DRIVE MOTOR (green)
Pressing the illuminated push--button activates the frequency conver-
ter of the driving motor.
Shines with the frequency converter ready for service.
13 Illuminated push--button control
STOP DRIVE MOTOR (red)
with protective cap
Pressing the illuminated push--button initiates switch--off of the fre-
quency converter of the driving motor.
Shines with the frequency converter switched off.
14 Signal lamp FU RUNNING (green) Signal lamp shines with the frequency converter in operation.
15 Illuminated push--button RESET
FAULT (red) with protective cap
Illuminated push--button shines with error message from frequency
converter.
Pressing the illuminated push--button sends a reset signal to motor
controls.
16 Signal lamp POWER LIMIT (red) Signal lamp shines when reaching the speed limit of the system.
17 Signal lamp LOCAL CONTROL
(yellow)
The signal lamp shines with the local control stand active.
18 Illuminated push--button SEND
TO BRIDGE (yellow)
Pressing the illuminated push--button activates the change--over to
the board of the main control stand or of the chair control stand.
Shines after pressing.
