Configuring the EM13X 

Series 

This  chapter  describes  how  to  configure  the  EM13X  Series  for  your 
particular  environment  and  application  from  the  front  display  and  via 
PAS.  To  access  your  meter  configuration  options  via  PAS,  you  should 
create a site database for your device as shown in Chapter 4.

Select  COM1  through  COM3  from  the  main  menu.  See 

Viewing  and 

Changing Setup Options

 in Chapter 3 for information on navigating in 

menus. 

See the table below for available communication options. 

Using PAS 

Select  Communications  Setup  from  the  Meter  Setup  menu,  and  then 
click on the Serial Ports Setup tab. In the Port box, select the desired 
device port.
