6. Remove the four fasteners (2) and remove the swing
drive gearbox access panel (3) under the machine.
7. Place an appropriately sized container below the oil
drain hose (5). See “Location, Capacity, and Type” on
page 5-12.
8. Remove the drain plug (4) and allow all the oil to drain
into the container.
9. Install the drain plug.
10. Install the swing drive gearbox access panel.
11. Remove the swing drive gearbox oil fill cap.
12. Fill the swing drive gearbox with clean oil through the
oil fill tube.
NOTE:
See “Industrial Gear Oil/Temperature Data”
on page 5-13 for oil specifications.
13. Check for correct oil level. See “Check the Swing
Drive Gearbox Oil Level” on page 5-86.
14. Install and tighten the oil fill cap.
NOTICE!
• Do not overfill the swing drive gearbox with oil.
• If oil leaks are found during the oil-level inspection, stop the inspection and contact a
SANY dealer.
Failure to follow this notice could result in damage to the gearbox.
