Inspect and Clean the Air Conditioner Condenser Fins

1. Prepare the machine for service. See “Maintenance Safety” on page 2-8.

2. Open the left rear access door. See “Left Rear Access Door” on page 3-6

WARNING!

•

Do not allow compressed air, pressurized water, or steam to come into contact with skin.
Always wear goggles, gloves, and other personal protective equipment (PPE).

•

Failure to follow these warnings could result in death or serious injury.

NOTICE!

•

Compressed air, high-pressure water, or steam can damage the cooling fins if the nozzle is
too close to the fins. To prevent cooling fin damage, keep the nozzle at a safe distance
while cleaning. Damaged cooling fins may lead to leaks and overheating.

•

In dusty environments, inspect the cooling fins daily regardless of the maintenance
schedule.

Failure to follow this notice could result in damage to the machine or cause it to operate

improperly.

NOTE:

Maintain a minimum distance of 12 in.



(30 cm) from the cooling fins during
cleaning.

3. Clean the air conditioner condenser fins (1) using

compressed air or pressurized water.

4. Inspect the area below the coolers and remove any

debris that has accumulated during operations.

5. Close the left rear access door.
