Set up Over Speed
GPS receivers calculate the speed using algorithms in the Kalman filter. Most receivers compute speed by a combination
of movement per unit time and computing the Doppler shift in the pseudo range signals from the satellites.
MU-201 provides Over Speed Detection. It will send an Over Speed report when GPS module calculates the speed value
is greater then the defined speed limit.
Over Speed function consumes more power since the GPS module calculates the speed all the time once the Over Speed
function is enabled.
