2.5.1.2 Major Features
Primary Connector Part
This is the primary connector that each daughter board is connected to outside network and
has the pitch of 2.54 mm to withstand the shocks, such as isolation between boards or
secondary patterns, surge and ESD and can register the sudden change of voltage or current
by using connection pins.

Secondary Connector Part
This is the connector part connecting control signal, address/data bus signal and power
required for each daughter board. Since it mounts four types of daughter boards, it supplied
the control signal for each daughter board.

Frame GND Support
This is a support to supply FGND to each daughter board and has the same height as those
of the primary and secondary connectors.
External Network Interworking Part
The above primary connector part uses a RJ-45 12 Port Modular Jack Connector to directly
connect an outside network. Four ports are allocated to each daughter board(module).

CPLD, LED, POWER CONTROL and BUFFER Parts
These parts consists of the structures to create the control signal and read the information
for each daughter board. Internal blocks consist of decoding part, read/write part for each
daughter board, 8K generation part, LED control part, Serial to parallel/Parallel to Serial
part and power control part. All signals supplied from the mother board to the UNI board
are buffered.
